FLYBY: Noah Movie with Ray Comfort

FLYBY noah ray comfort

HOLLYWOOD IS KNOWN for their occult imagery, profanity, and promiscuity, yet their influence is monumental in shaping culture today. So when Hollywood attempts to make their rendition of a vitally important story in the Bible, will they stay true to the Scriptures? According to Evangelist Ray Comfort, the answer is an emphatic NO!

In today’s FLYBY, Basil and Gonz discuss the film Noah starring Russell Crowe with Evangelist Ray Comfort who feels that Christians should not support the Hollywood film and instead support his own Noah film that he plans to release on the same day. Basil and Gonz ask Ray Comfort whether he’s actually seen the movie, why he feels it’s not worth seeing, what his Noah movie is about, and what his opinion is on the identity of the Sons of God and the Nephilim in Genesis 6.

Ray Comfort is a best-selling author of more than 60 books including God Doesn’t Believe in Atheists, The Atheist Test (booklet–over one million copies sold), You can Lead an Atheist to Evidence But You can’t Make Him Think, and, Evolution: A Fairy Tale For Grownups. He is also the co-host of an award-winning television program (with actor Kirk Cameron) “Way of the Master” which is seen in 123 countries.

    I liked Mr. Comforts analogy of sticking your head in a sewer and comparing what the world attempts to portray as the truth from the REAL Truth!
    Can’t wait to get my claws on a couple of those tee shirts and maybe even purchase Age of Deceit 2 video either. Its $$ well spent!
    God bless you guys and your ministries 🙂

    Although I don’t entirely agree with Ray Comfort’s method of street preaching or debating ability, he makes some good points. I have also come to the conclusion that unless someone has changed in the spirit, they will not understand the Bible. And as he emphasized, I certainly don’t like the idea of supporting Hollywood which has so many satanic ties and has done so much harm to the world. I’d much rather spend my time watching movies made by Gonz or the like. 😛

    Hollywood is jewish what do we expect.

      If Hollywood were Jewish, Noah might be something they could actually get right.

      And just for the record, “God’s” name is NOT God. It is Yah, Psalm 68:4

  4. Good interview. I’m glad when Christian leaders talk about Noah being righteous and a herald of such. It saddens me when they think being righteous somehow means he didn’t sin or have errant thoughts from time to time. Noah’s righteousness was not in his works, but in his faith… God grants righteousness to those who believe and have faith. Ultimately, no matter what sin is in your past, faith in God is the key. We’ll see if the movie maintains that biblical truth.

    In addition, when someone is unclear of the supernatural nature of the sons of God in Genesis 6 and their supernatural offspring, much imagination and belief in modern supernatural events lacks.

  5. Would you let someone make a movie portraying your mother as a drunk and a whore? A then on top of that pay to go and see it?

    Yet that is exactly what the film makers of NOAH have done.
    This movie is advertised on the majority of Christian website’s.

    Russell Crowe (ET said;
    “The funny thing with people, ya know, they consider Noah to be a benevolent figure-you know-because he looked after the Animals.
    “Awe, Noah, Noah and the animals.”
    I’m like, “Are you kidding me! This is the dude that stood by and watched the entire population of the planet…perish. He’s not benevolent, he’s not even nice.”
    At one point in the story, his son says “I thought you were chosen because you were good?” and he goes “I was chosen because I can get the job done”.
    So I think people are going to-…judging where peoples questions come from-… I think their gonna be quite surprised what Noah actually really means – What it means to really be in that position.”

    According to Answers In Genesis, who has reviewed the pre-screened movie;
    1.Methuselah is portrayed as a witch doctor.
    2.Noah is like a crazy man, more like worshiping the animals, saying the animals are innocent and only they may reproduce after to flood.
    .3.Only one of Noah’s son’s wives get on the Ark.(which suggest that only one man and woman repopulated the earth after the flood.)
    4.Tubalcain hides on the Ark.
    5.Noah desires to kill all females who may repopulate the earth.

    Yet the Bible tells us that Noah was a Preacher of Righteousness for 120 years.
    They are deliberately trying to push their propaganda on the masses and take our money at the same time.
    I say we send a message and give our money to the movie makers who care about God. (Like the makers of Courageous) and say NO to these film makers who haven’t the slightest idea of what righteousness and integrity is.

    Hollywood is like Hilter behind the camera, wrecking truth and pouring out lies.

    I have a serious problem with both Mr. Comfort and Mr. Ham when neither have seen the movie yet both are hypercritical of the movie. It’s like taking parenting classes from a guy that has never even dated!

    Man, when I heard what the Noah Movie was about, I got upset. I get tried of Hollywood missing up the stories from the Bible. I personally want to make a series of Films based on the Bible, and the true history surrounding it, like what Dr. Ken Johnson shares in his Post-flood History. Also a film about 400 year in between the Old and New Testaments and How the Lord was moving then.I would love to produce a film showing what really happened, and how God is still with us and loves us to this very day. I pray God can find away for me to get the training and team to make and produce Films and game that bring glory to God and preach the message of truth. But I’m glad that Ray is speaking out against these films. It’s sad how they twist the character of Noah, instead of sticking with the story and filling in small details. like what was Noah before he was called out by God. I always pictured him being a scribe, working in the local Library. But that just my imagination.but great show guys, God Bless.
